UNMC brings those resources to the Nebraska State Fair, Aug. 30-31, to share with fairgoers. Join experts from UNMC for presentations on simple ways to a healthier lifestyle, organ donation, cancer prevention and the vast array of health career opportunities. Children will have fun learning about poison control and prevention from Pinky the Elephant, as well as other medical appropriate topics from the Kids on the Block puppet show.

And the whole family can learn more about taking care of their hearts through a family Science Café presentation with cardiologist Dan Anderson, M.D.
